2010 Subaru Legacy CVT Rated at 31 mpg

Subaru has just issued the EPA fuel estimates for the 2010 Legacy CVT and the 2010 Outback CVT.

The automaker says that the new Legacy and Outback, outfitted with a Subaru Lineartronic CVT, achieved a fuel economy rating of 31 miles per gallon and 29 miles per gallon respectively, on the highway. The new continuously variable transmission is naturally said to play a large role in the reduction of fuel consumption, and results in a smaller amount of wasted power.

We will soon be driving the 2010 Subaru Legacy so keep an eye on our website for our impressions in the near future.
