Bernie Says: Formula 1 in South Korea in 2010

Autosport.com reports that the Formula 1 World Championship will run in South Korea starting in 2010.

As fans (and detractors) of F1 will attest, bossman Bernie Ecclestone has done a credible job of cultivating new markets for the sport in recent years. Shanghai, the site of this past weekend's great GP battle, debuted along with Bahrain in 2004, while Turkey came on board last year.

The seven-year agreement will put the new race about 240 miles south of Seoul in a new facility, which should be completed (it better be!) by 2009.
