Okay, so you're a horologist and a closet Steve McQueen fan, but you're tired of wearing your TAG Heuer Monaco everywhere. What's a man to do? Swiss watchmaker Dakota may have just the thing.

In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the filming of Le Mans, Dakota has just minted this Gulf-striped chronograph. Incorporating a Valjoux 7750 gauge Swiss automatic movement, the watch is actually assembled in Germany.

Buyers of each of the 50 serialized watches receive a choice of two bands and a wooden presentation box. Price? A cool 1,820 Euro (roughly $2,300 USD). But hey, Steve would be proud.
