Our irreverent friends at Jalopnik brought us the first look at the new Opel Corsa subcompact but don't think this little beauty will make it to the States. As Saturn adopts more Opel models into the fold, the heads at GM should seriously consider badge engineering this VW Golf competitor. Take a loss on it. Do anything you can to actually make Saturn as cool as the ads pretend it to be. The Sky will not convert enough people to Saturn ownership even if it gets them in the showroom. A company needs an entry model and Saturn doesn't have one. Perhaps high gas prices will have the unintended effect of bringing hot subcompacts like the new Corsa to America like never before.
