The 2008 Peugeot design contest is currently underway, with 29 entries from students across the globe vying to take the title before the contest ends on September 15. Contestants were asked to design a vehicle that can evolve within the cities of the future, while taking into consideration environmental awareness, social harmony, interactive mobility, and economic efficiency.

As with most competitions of this ilk, the entrants run from the utterly infeasible, to the seemingly almost practical. All of them are pretty spectacular in their own way though, and can be explored through our gallery above.
