Today, we stumbled upon this awesome, free, printable, coloring-book-style website which features, among other things, many of the cars we love to cover. Now we can cover color them with love, with the help of Managing Editor, Seyth Miersma’s big bucket of crayons.

In celebration of this fantastic time-devouring find, we issue a challenge to you, our creative reader: Color one of the cars in the gallery above, or one of the other cars from the Super Coloring website, and post an image in the comments section below. We will choose our favorite, and the winner will receive a Winding Road t-shirt, coffee mug, and other dubious goodies.

The deadline for the Winding Road Coloring Contest is Friday, July 31 at 5:00 pm Eastern. The winner will be announced the following week.

As you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet around NextAutos for the past couple of days. Our Ann Arbor-based editorial team is currently in the process of packing up and moving to our new home in the neighboring town of Ypsilanti, and the best part about the whole experience (except from having that new office smell) is being able to spend some quality time with one of our favorite haulers, the Dodge Sprinter.

As you'll recall, we raised many an eyebrow last year when we named the Sprinter as one of the best cars we drove in 2008. It's no joke. We like the clean-running 3.0-liter diesel six, the smooth five-speed automatic, and the fact that this thing is quite a joy to drive, even when we have the full 600 cubic feet of cargo capacity filled to the max.

We'll be sure to post some content here and there over the next few days. But in the meantime, always feel free to browse through our forums, or read the latest issue of Winding Road Magazine. We'll be back in full-swing in no time!

P.J. O'Rourke is funny. He's also very smart. Best of all, he cares about cars and how they make people feel.

The former National Lampoon editor was the son of a Toledo Buick dealer, and has written for Car & Driver and Automobile (both under David E. Davis). I'm sure he's written for other car mags, and countless other magazines, including Rolling Stone.

Anyway, I always laugh when I read P.J. O'Rourke, and I look forward to this.
