Fast and Furious takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to Japanese micro cars. Okay, perhaps this Autozam AZ-1 currently on eBay isn’t fast, and the arrest-me yellow body kit may not strike the masses as furious. This is however a very rare find for U.S. soil, and according to the auction the current owner actually spent some time injecting this Suzuki-built, Mazda-marketed minicar with some pizzazz.
Power comes from a turbocharged three-cylinder mill stuffed in the back, sending 64 horsepower to the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox. If that sounds like a recipe for Geo Metro-esque performance, you’d be right, but with the AZ-1 you at least get half the seats and cool gull-wing doors. That may or may not be macho enough for Vin Diesel, but don't be surprised if Paul Walker snipes it at the last second.
