General Motors doesn’t want to miss the hype train. It too has now announced that it will have an entire fleet of hybrids. Ok, it didn’t. But, GM will have 16 hybrid models on the market by 2012, CEO Rick Wagoner told reporters at the Geneva Motor Show.

Tata's $2500 Nano has been making headlines all over the world since it debuted, but this is the first time we've been able to examine the car in person. It's slightly larger than a Toyota iQ and looks as cheap as you would imagine. When people closed the doors, the entire car shook. We aren't saying that makes the Nano a bad car and we doubt anyone expected it to be bank vault-solid for such a low price.

We'll admit it - we hadn't heard much about Norwegian EV-maker Think since its quagmire as a Ford-owned brand, but we were somewhat surprised to find the automaker's presence (albeit in an outdoor tent) at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. Although the company continues to refine and manufacture the plastic-bodied City electric car, the big news at the show was the premiere of the company's five-door Ox concept.

Ever build a jigsaw puzzle, only to be disappointed with the result? Thankfully, that didn't happen when we saw Pininfarina's Sintesi concept sedan this morning at the Geneva Motor Show. Having been fed small pieces of photography over the past month, we're glad to say that in its entirety, it's a neat looking car.

Audi didn't settle for just shipping the R8 TDI concept back from the North American International Auto Show, instead it built a shiny new R8 TDI to honor the success of the R10 sports car at the Le Mans races. We're digging the red paint and wishing for production confirmation for this blazing oil-burner. The vital stats are the same for this car as they were for the R8 TDI concept in Detroit, but that doesn't mean we're sick of dreaming about this incredible Audi.

Not two hours into the press week for the Geneva Auto Show, and Ford's stand was already rocking with hordes of journalists crowded around the new Fiesta. We're not surprised - the production car, making its production debut here in Switzerland, is a more-than-attractive entry into the B-car segment.
