For those of you who might not have heard just yet, Issue 51 of Winding Road has just been launched. In addition to the great stuff you’ll find in the latest issue—Porsche 911 Turbo, convertible comparison test, Greenformance Awards, and tons more—you’ll likely be quick to notice that we dramatically upgraded the digital reader experience for this issue.

For starters, we’ve gone for a much larger, clearer, and more beautiful format size for Winding Road, meaning a better look at the hot photography we stuff into each issue. Better still, we’ve confined ourselves to just one banner advertisement at the top of the page, for a less distracting read. Big wins both, we’re hoping.

We’ve also streamlined the process of using the magazine, by simplifying the navigation interface. Use the blue arrow buttons to flip forward or backward through the issue one page at a time. The new Next Article and Previous Article buttons will allow you to move through the issue once piece of content at a time. Finally, the Contents button will bring you to the issue’s table of contents, allowing you to select an individual article directly. Easy stuff.

Please take some time to read through our newest issue (a super one, natch) and try your hand at the new navigation bar. Then, be sure to tell us what you think, problems you’ve had, or how much you love us in comments, below. Thanks.

reader is buggy - issue 51 loads "with errors" resulting in no scrolling capability.

I'm using a state-of-art Mac Pro w/snow leopard...could be me as well, as snow leopard appears to not play very well with older apps not optimized for this Mac OS.  Older Mac OSs may not have this issue...

Works fine for me on MacBook Pro/Snow Leopard.

I look forward to reading the articles in issue 51 when your new
online viewer is functional.  It loads but without any content.  My
status bar switches back and forth between "transferring data from
stats.zmag.com" and "waiting for stats.zmag.com".   I am no fan of PDF docs, so I won't pay to read that format.

We're currently having a server problem with our magazine reader partner at the moment and are actively working to get it resolved as soon as possible. I will post an update here once we have the issue resolved and thanks for your patience.
