Chrysler Documents Specify Fiat and Alfa Romeo Models for U.S.
An alliance between Chrysler and Fiat could mean that the U.S. would receive the Fiat 500, Grande Punto, and Panda, as well as the Alfa Romeo MiTo and Milano, Edmunds reports. Chrysler's bankruptcy documents also indicate American access to Fiat’s 3.0-liter diesel and 1.4-liter engines.
With these vehicles, Chrysler hopes to offer a lineup of vehicles in a segment currently underserved by the automaker. The alliance could also mean more production in underutilized plants in the U.S.

I still miss my very first car - a 1974 Fiat X 1/9. Here is hoping that Fiats and Alfas really do return to these shores, sans "dumbing down" for Americans!

Why is it that Fiat and Alfa have always seemed to arrive on these shores with shaky dealer networks?
I can't recall how many times Fiat and Alfa have been offered here, only to fade away.
Call me a skeptic, but it's very hard for me to believe that it will be different this time.

Well, a lot has changed in the auto industry in since this time last year, so looking to the past may not be particularly relevant right now. Chrysler in chapter 11, GM probably heading that way too... I'd check out a Chrysler-Fiat dealer to drive the 500. That's a nifty little ride.

Im 18 years old and as a struggling student who enjoys racing UGG
