Tokyo Motor Show: A Live Look at the Toyota IQ
Toyota’s European-bound minicar concept, the short and sweet IQ, made an appearance with the rest of the eco-friendly gang at Tokyo after debuting at Frankfurt last month.
The three-seater IQ is as bold a styling statement as you’d hope for in a vehicle bound for production, with proportions chunky enough to offset its almost comic smallness.
We can tell already that the baby Toyota will feel right at home on both winding Euro roads, and Japanese side streets. Though we have a few stateside drives we’d like to run it through, don’t look for it in the U.S. any time soon. Do, however, look for it in our live gallery.

I continue to be amazed as the crisis of our socio-economic self perpetuating
demise looms in the near distance and we continue to not react as the technology either doesn't make into production or it is marketed everywhere but in the US. Soon you won't need to go to the junk yard to see abondoned vehicles, for the most ecomically strapped portion of our labor force that drive the v6s'and v8s' 4 door sedans, sports utilities and luxury cars, "old used cars, will be lining the streets and drive ways of homes across America!
