Detroit 2009: Live Images of the Mini Cooper S Convertible
After spilling the beans about its new Cooper S convertible just before the New Year, there was little left for Mini to do but drive its new drop top through a giant wall of fake ice. Check.
The personable Mini convertible was a predictably popular journalist destination; we were able to snap off a few live shots of the car before the masses closed in. While all of the details were already well known, we were amused when the Mini brass reminded us of the “Always Open Timer” feature of the car, a way of clocking the actual time spent driving with the top open. The hardcore convertiblists will be over the moon.
