We have received great feedback since announcing the launch of Winding Road Driver's Club. The consensus seems to be that everyone is very excited about being part of a club that focuses on the joy of driving and emphasizes events with a lot of track time for each participants. We also learned that many of you are not quite ready to make a decision about joining and need a little more time to plan. We understand that sometimes scheduling driving events might conflict with family vacation plans and that you might need a little more notice.

So, with the feedback you have provided, we decided to rework a few aspects of the program and to start negotiations for rentals on an even larger variety of tracks. Registration for the new program will begin later this Summer. Look for the new event schedule to be ready by October.

In the meantime, we can never have too much feedback. Please continue to post ideas to the Driver's Club forum and look for upcoming surveys with specific questions which will allow us to address the needs of the larger audience.

Who's Behind the Club?

The car-loving editors of Winding Road magazine came up with the idea for the club. They were inspired by readers who said “There’s no place I can really open up my car safely” and “I’d like to do something really fun with my car a few times a year, but I’m not trying to be an amateur racer”. Since the magazine's tag line is "For Drivers", a club to give car lovers access to great and affordable driving experiences just seemed like the right thing to do.
