Express Yourself in Animated Fashion with ‘The Hand’

Able to express a wide range of emotions, nonverbally, and without so much as cracking a window, this “The Hand” radio-controlled window sign surely signals a leap forward in driver-to-driver communication.

Using the fancy and expensive sounding electroluminescent technology, The Hand will easily attach to the rear window of any car or truck. The device will then convey gestures ranging from “Power” to “I love you,” at the touch of a button, with plenty of range left to raise the occasional single finger salute. A $39.99 price tag leaves The Hand well within reach for most quirky gift shoppers, though the item is funny enough that you may just want to treat yourself—just be sure to keep your hands on the wheel.

But why the split index finger? Presumably it is for two positions of the index finger, but none of the shown settings requires it.

so now i need a decoder for 6 of the 7 gestures i am unfamiliar with, and to top it off, i am not sure if the gesture is intended for me?

Which gesture means, "I just saw you picking your nose and I am grossed out"? In the 70's, people had a thing that displayed a text message in the window, ie, their phone number. That caught on like wildfire (not) this should be at least as unsuccessful.
