Flappy Foot Amphibious Hybrid Concept has Automatically Changing Wheels

Is it a car? Is it a boat?  Is it an ATV? Actually, its all three…

This Amphibious Hybrid is a cool concept vehicle created as a design project where each wheel has an electric engine, and adjustable tires. The concept vehicle is capable of analyzing different terrains, and changing the shape of its tires to suit that particular terrain. The designers state that the idea behind this concept is to be able to use the vehicle on land, ice and water. No doubt useful to the Prudhoe Bay set.

Each wheel would be composed of movable parts, which can increase the vehicle’s traction or even change into paddle wheels. It is controlled by terrain sensors, which gauge when more or less traction is needed.
