Is Bangle Leaving a Bad Thing or a Good Thing?

Personally, I think Bangle did what he had to do. BMWs were stuck in a rut and safety regs mean we're never going back to '68, '78 or '88.

Yes, but not because he was a negative asset for BMW. It's time for BMW to evolve to a new direction. The lovely CS concept has set a trend in styling cues for the F01 (2010 Seven). Bangle departs on a clear note, as his direction has seen staunch display with the X6.
Under the Bangle era, BMW pulled away from decades of squared geometry. Strangely enough, the CS may show BMW's slight evolution back to it. The CS looks beautiful. I can't say the same for the old Threes, Fives, and Sevens of old.
