What does Harley's buyout of MV Agusta mean for the Italian brand?

The Harley company has just acquired the MV Agusta firm, maker of Italy's fiercest sportbikes.  What does this mean for MV?  Will this be a landmark change, like Audi's acquisition of Lambo, or more along the lines of De Tomaso's pointless ownership of Maserati?

It seems to me that the big thing that Harley offers is much larger distribution.

I just see the Chrysler-Lambo ordeal happening.  I wonder what this means for Buell.  Maybe nothing since Buells are priced way under.  But I would think Harley wants MV to expand.  MV's limited market has not done much for cash flow.

It'll be like having to buy fine french wine in Coca Cola bottles.
