Little Tikes Cozy Coupe: The Best-Selling Car In America
Here's a funny little bit of weekend news.
For years, we always hear about the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry being the best-selling car each year in America. But if we expand the definition of car a bit, both the Camry and Accord have been trumped -- by the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, the perennial favorite mode of transportation for the toddler crowd.
The Cozy Coupe has sold more than 10 million units in its thirty-year history, outselling every other car in 2008, and even outselling the popular Ford Taurus back in the 1990s. Because of this, the Cozy Coupe is being inducted into the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum in Cleveland, where it will be showcased as one of the top twenty best selling models of all time.

I have bought two of these for my grand daughters and the car is their favourite toy. One has been named "Herbie" and the other "Bippy" - Herbie after the movie car and Bippy because my grand daughter drives her parents mad with the horn whenever she gets in the car.
