Mitsuoka Galue Limousine: Get Your ‘Egoism’ On
Never a company to shy away from bold stylistic choices, Japanese auto sculptor Mitsuoka has worked its fiendish way with Infiniti’s M35/M45, creating a limousine that takes bizarre coach building to a whole new level.
The Galue Limousine S50 does betray its Nissan origins pretty readily in the interior—the front two seats are actually pretty stock—despite the hugely expanded rear passenger area, complete with very bad carpeting. On the outside, the car has been very heavily revised with a Rolls-Royce-like vertical grille merged between the sloping front fenders (note the subtlety with which the Infiniti lights have been covered), and an expansive center section spliced down the middle.
At the equivalent of nearly $100,000 for the top-of-the-line Galue limo, the Mitsuoka charm certainly doesn’t come cheaply to those Japanese bold enough to splash out on one. Then again, any car that is described as being “The ‘Egoism’ way of living” (Mitsuoka’s own tagline for the Galue), is more than likely intended to be a little on the ostentatious side. HORRID
James Perspective
This is a unattractive rip off of classic Rolls-Royce body stying. And what the world needs right now in the face of coroporate failings and economic challenges is "The 'Egoism' way of living."

What an atrocious way to mess up a perfectly good Corolla.

No One ever went broke underestimating the hubris & ostentatious tastes of the greedy global capitalists! . . . I only hope it's armored . . .because it is certainly something I wouldn't be caught dead in!

What a ghastly pastiche! Mitsuoka bringing great dishonor to Nissan, and should have good grace to please commit hara kiri at his earliest convenience.

It seems they have been taken over by Japanese stylists that have been locked away since 1960. Remember, ugly costs no more!!!

The pinnacle of the Japanese luxury automobile paradigm: copy as many design features from other manufacturers and meld them onto your own "so-called" design.

Over 4 decades of automotive innovation and design from Japan culminated in this?

I like Mitsuokas, unfortunately in my country that brand is not sold
They were, the sedans, normal cars, very modified to look like european luxury cars, both RR, Jaguars, Vanden Plas and old Saabs
they should see duty as airport limos or funeral sedans
there was also a stretch limo, american style

Okay, when I looked at the lead photo, I thought Rolls Royce had finally come to is senses, and was returning to its classic roots. But when I saw the 3/4 side view, the first thing that came to mind was...!@#$%^&*()*&^%$#@! Where was the train wreck?! What backyard bodyshop put this thing back together, and what insurance company paid them to do it. The term "in poor taste" doesn't EVEN begin to cover it. Come on guys, April Fool's was seven months ago.
