Car Summary: A delightful car, the BMW 1 Series was introduced in mid-2008 so there are no changes for 2009. With a well-sorted BMW chassis and excellent six-cylinder engines, the 1 Series is a pleasure to drive. The 135i version, with twin-turbos and direct injection, combines more than ample grunt (sporting 300 hp and 300 lb.-ft. of torque) with good fuel economy (26 mpg highway).
