The 3 Series has achieved iconic status in the U.S. for good reason. With a balance of good driving dynamics, comfort, available luxury features, and practicality, the 3 Series is "just right" for a lot of people. The big news for 2009 is the availability mid-year (probably December) of BMW's famous six-cylinder turbo diesel. With over 425 lb.-ft. of torque, the 335d should be a rocket, yet offer 33 mpg EPA highway fuel economy.
