The unusual BMW X6 is based on the all-wheel-drive X5 SUV, but with a sportier tilt. Driving the X6 is a pleasure. For a big car, the steering is good, the handling is crisp, and the ride is firm but well damped. The top engine, a twin-turbo V-8 with 400 hp and 450 lb.-ft. of torque has plenty of thrust, though it has over 5000 lb. to move. But still, is the X6 an answer to a question nobody asked?
