Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V Headed to U.S. Dealers
Scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships any day now, the new Griso 1200 8V is everything that we love about Europe’s oldest motorcycle manufacturer, Moto Guzzi.
The new Griso draws on classic Moto Guzzi lines without appearing the slightest bit ‘retro’, mixing cool cut-down body work with a super aggressive exhaust system. The bike is motivated by an 8-valve version of Guzzi’s venerable air-cooled V-twin, an 1151cc unit which pumps out 110 horsepower at a mild 7500 rpm. That motor is connected to the rear wheel via the Italian company’s patented CA.R.C. compact shaft drive system, which is housed within the quite massive aluminum alloy swingarm.
Moto Guzzi is making the Griso 1200 8V available in Guzzi Black and Moon White for the not insignificant asking price of $14,290.

I don't care what that fat, overrated pig Jeremy Clarkson says: I dig Moto Guzzis. Almost any Italian sport/touring bike ranks well with me. The Aprilia RST1000 was a favorite of mine for a long time. Any chance WR will review the Griso 1200 or--better yet--feature it in a comparison test?

Thank you for the basic information I've always wanted. I only need to read a major review when I'm really interested in a machine, not just browsing.
Thanks again
