Download Winding Road 39 (As a PDF)
If there’s one thing we love about our jobs at Winding Road and NextAutos it’s the feedback we get from our readers. Trust us, we listen and read each one of your comments. When we moved to our new Winding Road magazine platform last week we heard from many of you who still wanted an offline reading option; a good number of you raised your hands for a simple, ad-free PDF format of the magazine as well.
We’re happy to report that going forward we’ll offer Winding Road as a PDF. Our plan is to offer a subscription to Winding Road for a nominal fee (we’re not sure what this will cost right now, but a year subscription will likely be less than the cost of a sandwich—and certainly less than a print magazine). As we write this, our technology team is working on that PDF subscription service. But, until the point we’re ready to unveil that we’re going to offer you this month’s current issue for free. It’s here as a PDF (inside a zip file).

If you’re a PC user, right click and save this .zip file to your desktop. If you’re a Mac user, Control-click and save to your desktop.
Thanks for your feedback and thanks for reading Winding Road,

THANK YOU!
As a reader of about 12 electronic magazines, I hate all the non-PDF based magazines out there. They are slow, clunky and difficult to come back too. To download and read a PDF later is so much easier. It wouldn't even need to be Ad free either. Put adds in it just like in the print version. The high tech animated ads are a waste of time, and uses computer memory I don't want to give.
Anyway. Short rant. Thanks for the PDF, keep 'em coming.

Thank you, very much appreciated! When the time comes, I'll be happy to support you for the price of a sandwich. Lunch is overrated.

I have read every issue and welcome the PDF format as I like to print it and read it in bed (and on my iphone) and the laptop is a bit inconvenient for this.
Can you convert back issues to PDF as well?

Consistant quality. This has been a very inpressive venture. I have been reading from the begining and the quality has been there throughout. Keep up the great work.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
So often companies fail to respond to the concerns of the consumers and seem to say like it or lump it. I am extrmemely pleased that Winding road is not one of them. I was impressed from the outset that such a good car magazine could be electronic and FREE, but I know that nothing is free and have always clicked on the clickable ads. as you have responded I can assure you that I will also respond.

I share sentiment of others of welcoming the return of the PDF format. I never knew what the reason was for going to the non-PDF format in the first place. My biggest problem with the non-PDF issues is that I use sever computer platforms, depending on where I am -- work, home, on the road, etc. If I download the Mac version for my laptop, I can't use that on my Windows machines, and there is no alternatives for LINUX/*BSDs not to mention lack of compatibility with my e-book reader.
I didn't mind the Ads -- they are just part of the magazine reading experience that I'm sure we've all became accustomed to. It's convenient to have clickable ads -- occasionally I see the ad that has a product that intrigues me, more info is only a click away.
