When it comes to getting customers interested in a vehicle of a performance oriented nature, one of the sexiest numbers an automaker has at its disposal is the horsepower figure. The other end of the power equation, that deliciously shadowed figure measured in foot-pounds, is too often obscured. So when engines like the free-revving unit in BMW’s M5 (for instance) make eye-popping 500 horsepower numbers, we tend to forget that their smaller displacement, frenetic characters also mean that torque (383 pound-feet in the M’s case) is in shorter supply.
So which cars rank the highest when their total power measurements, horsepower and torque, are combined into one figure? A breakdown of 2009 models on sale in the U.S. (somewhat limited by our use of “standard” manufacturers, sorry tuners) reveals a few of the usual suspects, as well as a couple of faces you might not have expected. I liked that ALL five were OVER 600 horsepower. The AMG Mercedes was the weakling at 604 hp.
We have seen the top in performance, for some time to come, I'd wager.

I remember seeing the official 599 images years ago and thinking it resembled a deformed G35. Seeing the later photos and the car in person changed my mind--big-time. The 599 GTB is a restoration of the Ferrari berlinetta tradition. It has an emotional design that Ferrari's trying to push, all sorts of luxury, and immense power. It easily ranks as my dream GT, followed by the Maserati GranTurismo.
I'm kind of surprised not to see the Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo. In fact, I'm surprised how little coverage the car has received, considering the claims Saleen has made about its performance.

Skinner as you will be killing many skinable mobs early on, and either powerleveling wow Herbalist or powerleveling wow Miner as the radar marker conflicts - you cant have both a Herbalist and Miner radar blip on. I have "toons" that are both Skinner, Herbalist and Skinner, Miner ... I think the coin generated is a little better as a Miner (esp as you get occ. gem drops in ore placements), but if you choose a dark-elf as a race go herbalist as the starting area has no mining resources - there may be an equivalent horde race !
