Spy Shots: Alfa Romeo Milano Prototype Caught With Less Camo
During the winter, we posted some pictures of the Alfa Romeo Milano prototype out testing in full winter camouflage. Today, we give you this set of photos of the Milano, successor to the 147, caught near the Nürburgring with less garb, giving us a better look at the car’s lines and front-end details.
Probably debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, the Milano will be available with front-wheel and four-wheel drive systems, and will offer the T-jet gasoline and Multijet diesel engines.
Check out the new shots of the Alfa Romeo Milano prototype in the gallery above, or scroll down for our spy photographer’s comments after the jump.
The successor to the Alfa Romeo 147, the Milano has been spotted close to the Nürburgring. We guess there will be some great shots from the new Milano while doing some laps on the track during the week.
The Milano is based on the same platform as the Bravo and the Lancia Delta, and just like its brothers it will have a range of T-jet petrol engines and Multijet diesel engines. Of course there will also be a GTA version with 265 horsepower later on. This prototype was one of the diesel versions.
Front wheel drive with the Q2 system will be standard and the four wheel drive system Q4 will be optional.
Expect the Milano to debut in Frankfurt in September this year.
