Spy Shots: Audi RS5 Spotted Testing
Audi isn’t letting the current malaise in the world financial outlook get in the way of some super coupe testing, as these images of the company’s RS5 clearly show.
Building on what is already a phenomenally good car, the S5, RS5 turns up the wick with a 450 horsepower V-8 engine. The uprated power is hinted at by the large twin exhaust pipes as well as a small spoiler on the trunk lid. Our shooter informs us that the car sounds really beautiful as well—a fact we don’t doubt after listing hard to other high-performance Audis.

The true successor to the Audi Quattro coupe is on the go, and we have the photos. Meet the Audi RS5.
With gigantic air intakes in the front, those wide fenders like the one we saw on the RS6 and the two RS typical massive exhaust pipes this one looks so hot. If you look closely you will also notice a small integrated spoiler on the rear trunk.
Power will come from a V8, no signs off financial crisis here, and will deliver some 430-450 horsepower. And the sound, it’s a sound to die for. Who needs a stereo and a sound system in an RS5 when you have AC/DC playing under the hood?
Enjoy the photos before it becomes illegal to show great looking fun machines in these “green” days.
