Spy Shots: BMW 3-Series Coupe and Convertible Look Ready for Frankfurt
Our beloved spy photographer sent us these photos of the facelifted BMW 3-Series. Both the coupe and the convertible showed up with wearing less than we’ve seen before, and we get a good look at the bumpers and lights.
Don’t blush, 3-Series. You’re very handsome. We’ll see you in Frankfurt.

Today we spotted the face lifted BMW 3 series Coupe again, and this time it was having the full facelift package meaning the correct LED-rear lights and the modified rear bumper as well. Earlier we caught the Coupe with just the front bumper disguised. Getting ready for its Frankfurt debut, it’s out on final testing.
But we didn’t just spot the Coupe, but for the first time we also spotted the Convertible which will get the same treatment.

Congrats to BMW! It now looks even more like a Pontiac from the front. I guess that since Pontiac is out of business BMW decided it was OK to borrow from that brand. That look worked so well for Pontiac.

Indeed, the front end does look even more like a Pontiac. Still, not quite as ugly as the dead GM plate, and it's an improvement on recent BMW 3-Series design "exercises." It looks like they've fixed the pinched tail.
