Spy Shots: Long Wheelbase Peugeot 3008
It looks as if Peugeot is planning a long wheelbase version of its upcoming 3008 MPV, one with plenty of room for seven passengers. The last two of those onboard may have to be children, as the last row is said to be a little tight, but it will undoubtedly serve admirably as a place to stow luggage, groceries, etc on other occasions.
The Euro-style minivan will compete head-to-head with the likes of Nissan’s popular Qashqai, and will share some oily bits with its PSA kissing cousin, the Citroen C4 Picasso. Expect the Peugeot to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

We have seen photos of the upcoming Peugeot 3008 before, but here are the first photos of the long wheel base version. This version will have room for up seven persons, or plenty of space for luggage when traveling with five persons.
Our personal guess is that the two last seats will more suit for kids, rather than adults but it will sure try to make life harder for the competitors like the Nissan Qashqai +2.
Technical it will share all engines and gearboxes with the normal 3008, and we suspect that that will be the same as with the Citroen C4 Picasso.
With the 3008 to be unveiled any day now, the 3008 LWB will be hidden away until the car Show in Frankfurt in September.
