Spy Shots: New Porsche Boxster Tests at the Nürburgring
Our spy photographer snapped these shots of the new Porsche Boxster testing on the Nürburgring. It’s wearing a little less than when we saw it this winter, giving us a better look at its lines.
We notice it appears a bit longer than the current generation, and it shows some other small changes. The Taillights look different, for instance, but we need to keep in mind that production is still far off.
Check back for future developments on the new Porsche Boxster, which we expect to show up at the 2011 Geneva show.

Porsche are moving on with the development of the new Boxster and slowly it shows some more details. This time we noticed that the prototype that was driving around the Nürburgring had lost some of its disguise on the right door revealing some new pressings that will lead cooling air to the air intakes mounted on the side and further on to the engine. But like most Porsche models, we expect the Boxsters new styling to me more evolutionary rather than revolutionary.
It’s also clear to see that the new Boxster will be slightly longer than the current one. Maybe a reason to believe there will be room in the line-up for a smaller Porsche under the Boxster. And now with the VW-Porsche deal, it’s no wild guess that there could come a Porsche version of the VW Blue Sport concept.
This next generation Porsche Boxster is scheduled to be launched at the Geneva Car Show 2011.

Is it just me, or have the front/rear proportions of this car always been a bit skewed forward? If Porsche is going to be so conservative, why not at least address that?
