Spy Shots: Next Gen Ford Ranger Mule
These latest spy shots would appear to be the upcoming version of the new “world-version” of the Ford Ranger small truck, a very slightly different mule than the one we reported on some time ago.
Though the development mule may have undergone significant mechanical change in that time, it appears to be the same vehicle on the outside. Too bad, as the sloping, car-like front-end treatment isn’t exactly a crowd pleaser, and slightly off the plot of the brutal, but handsome F-150. Have a better look above.
Ford is testing the next generation Ranger in Europe, and we shot these mules of a double cab in the Alps. It seems like it will grow a little compared to the current version, from the photos it looks like it both wider and longer.
Remember, this is the European and Asian version, but from the rumors that we have heard, Ford will make this a “World-version”, meaning this generation will also replace the US version.
Don’t worry about the looks, since this is only just a mule the design will change a lot before its time for the Ranger to hit a show room next to you.
