Spy Shots: Renault Megane CC

We just received these photos of the Renault Megane CC, which was expected to show up at the Frankfurt show, but didn’t. Perhaps they didn’t have room for it on the show floor.

We expect the rear end of the CC to differ from the Megane Coupe to accommodate for the retractable roof, which should be partly made of glass.

Look for gasoline and diesel engines, as well as a biofuel powerplant.

Check out the upcoming Renault Megane CC still in development in the photos above, or scroll down for the photographer’s own words.

Here are the first photos of the upcoming Renault Megane CC, a car that was expected at the IAA Car Show in Frankfurt this week. Instead Renault either decided to show it later, probably in Geneva in March 2010 since the development is not ready yet, or they where to busy showing all the electrical concept cars.
The Megane CC is based on the Megane Coupe, and is likely to have the same front fascia. Rear will of course be totally different but we suspect the roof will be partly in glass.
The engines found in the Coupe are likely to be found in the CC as well meaning both petrol and diesel versions and of course the more correct bio-fuel engine.
