The first thing we notice about the new Audi A8 is the updated headlamps with LED running lights. The camouflage hides any other obvious changes to the vehicle, but our photographer notes that it has gotten slightly longer and lighter.

We expect some updates under the hood, and the car should be more efficient than previously. Also, we should see two- and four-wheel-drive versions. If all goes as expected the new A8 will show up later this year.

Here some spyphotos of the new Audi A8 during hot weather testing. The prototypes are slowly losing some of its cammo and in these photos we can clearly see the day-driving LED lights and also some parts of the interior for the first time. We expect the A8 to have grown some cm in length and at the same time it has lost some of its weight. Cleaner and more fuel efficient engines are expected, both petrol and diesel. Of course there will be both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions.
 
The new Audi A8 is rumored to be unveiled later this year.
