We’ve already seen tons Jaguar XJ images so far, in various stages of completion and camouflage, but none quite so revealing as this latest set.

The Jag engineers have gotten a pretty crafty with their cladding of this XJ prototype, using the same sort of swirling body cover that’s favored by BMW, as well as creating a fake “double kidney” grille for the car. Our spy shooter isn’t biting though, and it’s fairly easy to see the Jaguar cues lurking below the surface. The British automaker is moving away from the shape of the current XJ, which has been largely unchanged for decades, in favor of adopting many styling cues and shapes from the lovely XF.

In February, we showed you the BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo concept that went to Geneva (it was the one with the super long press release, remember?). Today, our spy photographer sent us these photos of the 5-Series GT testing in Munich. It appears not much has changed from the concept, which spurred much debate among our readers.

We’ve seen the Saab 9-5 mule during winter testing, but here it is again, now lapping the Nürburgring. We want to assume this points to a performance-oriented car that is still on a timeline to debut at the Frankfurt show in September.

Expect the new 9-5 to take on  the likes of the BMW 5-Series and the Audi A6.

Our spy shooter caught the Jaguar XJ testing at the Nürburgring. Take a look at that camouflage. We especially like the one red wheel. We applaud Jaguar’s ability to tease us and make us laugh at the same time.

Hopefully, Jaguar will take some of the plastic and duct tape off this thing soon to give us a good look at it. We expect to be pleased.

Seems as if BMW is drawing closer to being able to show off it’s face-lifted 3-Series, as this coupe prototype was recently caught on a test drive in Munich.

The changes won’t be radical, and look to include a revised front fascia, new air intakes, as well as new fog lights. The rear bumper has been reshaped, and new LED lighting will be found in the rear of the car as well.

We caught this Ferrari 599 testing, and according to our spy shooter, it sounds amazing. Perhaps Ferrari is working on a 599 Scuderia. Or maybe they’re simply running engine tests for the 599XX. We’re not exactly sure what Ferrari is up to, but we can’t wait to find out.

Today, we received these spy photos of what we believe to be the successor to the Ferrrai 612. Not much is known yet about this particular Ferrari, but this four-seater still features the V-12, hence the length of the vehicle. It also has the over/under tailpipes instead of the side-by-side exhaust.

Expect to see this car on the market in 2011.

Our spy photographer caught the BMW 5-Series Toruing without its winter garb. The swirly camouflage, though hard on the eyes, at least gives us a peek at the car's lines.

Our spy photographer caught the Mercedes-Benz SLK prototype testing at the Nürburgring, where the engine apparently caught fire on the first lap. Exciting stuff.

Also exciting is that this, the third generation of the SLK, may get a diesel engine in the lineup. It should be on the market in 2012, and our spy photographer promises more revealing photos between now and then.

The Porsche 997 GT3 RS, seen here, may have the same 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine as the regular GT3, but it certainly is not the same vehicle. Those same 435 ponies power a lighter Porsche with wider wheels, a different suspension, and an enormous adjustable wing. Rumors of it getting the PDK transmission make it even more desirable.
