Good, but I would have liked to have seen the car accelerate away from a standing start, no smoking tyres or any of that kids stuff but just to hear the motor wind up through the gears........or perhaps a video from inside the car........

Gentlemen Please! I have an 07 e-gear with 2200 happy, fun, drivers car to appreciate miles. I had a f1-360 modena ( I know the 430 ) is quite different, but!!!! You can obtain a new Lambo, where as unless you have millions plus connections, forget about a new 430.
I put a Tubi exhaust and K&N air filters on it ( just for me )and let me tell you that the car on it's own going thru the gears is nothing short of fantastic. In fact, I had a friend time me from a 2mph roll to 188mph in just under 17 seconds. There was plenty left and handling was superior I have ever driven. I've also owned 27 Porsches, turbo's, gt3's, you name it.
GO GET A GALLARDO WHILE YOU CAN!

or the vid needs the irreverence of Top Gear...... powerslides, four wheel slides, standing stop launches etc...which i find great, the boys at TG don't take the products too seriously as they bash them about their track...

Yep, really boring video. But to add to Bobby Gee's comments, from all that has been written about this new Gallardo, Lambo has absolutely nailed it. The changes made to this version of the car - more power, improved shifting, improved handling, continuously improving quality - has created a bona fide alternative to the F-car.
Historically, every article and video evaluating the Gallardo places it as a sound number two. Great, but not up to the Ferrari. I can't wait to read the next bake-off between the two. I suspect the outcome will finally be different.
My single supercar allotment is currently a Ford GT. But if I were to switch, and (still) couldn't afford a Carrera GT, this Gallardo is it.

I don't know about all the specs, I just know that I seriously need to know how it feels to go 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. WOW! Just the thought of it is a thrill. Just a test drive--- that's the top of my wish list.
