Chevy Volt’s Dog Lick Advertisement

The only thing we can tell you about this ad is that it’s real. The Chevy Volt ad lets us all know that Chevy cares about the environment.

However, there may be an underlying tone here. The ad points out that you could save the environment by using less water. Maybe Chevy is tossing out some fuel-economy standards angst at the consumer by asking what YOU are doing to help the environment, in a circuitous way.

All along I thought this was a joke commercial that someone made up.

This has to be the worst commercial I have seen in years. It DOES NOT communicate what the Volt is and what it will mean to our future.

GM should fire whoever came up with this, or at least make them sleep... in the doghouse!

Trailer-trashy. Just the audience Volt will be selling to. Right. Bob Lutz is brilliant, all hail GM.

I bet if the guy croaked, the dog would eat him.

Now that's environmentalism ;) Darwinism too.
