Elon Musk and Robert Scoble Take a Tesla Test Drive

In this rather long test-drive video, famed tech blogger Robert Scoble sits shotgun while streaming video, as Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk gives him the quick and dirty scoop on the fast-approaching Roadster. Scoble is more than a little bit impressed with the accelerative characteristics of the Tesla, exclaiming at one point that the roadster feels as if it has, "like five-times the torque of my Saturn!"

Actually a really good interview. Whether or not you like Tesla, it's hard not to appreciate Musk as an entrepreneur.

Musk keeps talking about him believing in saving the environment etc... but he just sold off his Mclaren F1...wonder how much fuel that car has been burning the past few months/years he has had it. And how much fuel the new owner of the car will burn using it.

Maybe, dumping his Mclaren F1 in the scrapyard would have been a better/greener option....no?

Good interview, but Must is buried too deep in his PR notes to be candid about it.

Before yesterday when I first saw this video I'd never heard of Elon Musk. Wiki this guy, he's a frikin' genius. I was no fan of this car, at first, not seeing what it did any better than a stock Lotus Elise. But anyone would be foolish to bet against Elon Musk( pretty cool name,no).
