Road Test: 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
Here in southern San Diego County, there are brilliant blue skies, rolling hills, funky ranchos, and more challenging two-lane roads than you can drive in a lifetime—the kinds of roads that just make your day. Three of us are in a sparkling red G8 GT, flying down a long straightaway peppered with dips and yumps, going 120 miles per hour and having a conversation in normal tones of voice.
The transmission is in sixth gear, and the big V-8 whispers in the background. The G8 is under no strain, glued down tight and handling the pavement with the quiet composure of an English butler. Yes, sir. Of course, sir. Right you are, sir.
The straightaway turns into twenty miles of curves and switchbacks, and nothing changes but the tempo of the turns. Still brutally powerful off the corners, still glued to the pavement, the G8 is just eating this up. And so are we. This is the most fun we’ve had in a Pontiac sedan since high school, but we can’t tell that story in a family magazine, so we’ll tell this one instead.

Your content is great but I have one complaint: I CAN'T GET TO IT!
From my email full of "teaser" articles I had to click 5 links to get to an actual article about the Pontiac G8... and it was just a stub on a page filled with advertisements. For the full article I had to click this link: http://magazine.windingroad.com/windingroad/200805/?folio=97
AND IT DIDN'T WORK!! Please make your make your material more accessible.
Thanks,
Frustrated Chad
