Wishful Thinking: 2010 Road Runner Renderings
Though Plymouth was killed off a few years ago, that hasn’t stopped the folks at Mopar Enthusiast magazine from dreaming up what they envisioned as the 2010 Plymouth Road Runner concept car. The renderings are featured in their August/September issue.
The concept takes many of its styling cues from the second generation Road Runner, built from 1971-75 but also features modern elements such as 21-inch front and 22-inch rear magnesium 5-spoke wheels, LED taillights, and 14-inch Brembo brakes.
The car would be powered by a HEMI 5.7-liter V-8 as standard. 6.1-liter and 7.0-liter would also be available as well. The engines would be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
This is all wishful thinking however; as it is highly doubtful Chrysler would revive Plymouth just to bring back the Road Runner. Still, it's still possible for Chrysler to come out with a similar car in the future.

I have a 69 roadrunner and its the most perfect car I've ever driven. This new roadrunner design is ugly and it looks nothing like a true rr. It might be fast but count me out if it does come out.
